Bop Slum Case

Students had to design community integrated product systems for slum setting X.
During the 10 week course students developed several cases:
Pedal Power concept. By pedaling on a stationary bike in a slum community households can recharge a battery to run a LED light.
Garbage collecting system: by collecting household garbage, slum dwellers can produce new items such as bags and sell them to western shops ( Bijenkorf). Both the collection system as well as the bag to be manufactured from the garbage materials had to be conceptualised by the students.
